Training (Task 6.4)A limited number of students from E.U. candidate and N.I.S. countries were invited to attend the final Conference. Background and RationaleThe Final Conference was an open Scientific Conference in which all interested scientists and students could participate. Because of limited resources, a large-scale training of individuals in environmental science and policy issues couldnot take place. However, a select number of young scientists and/or students from E.U. candidate and N.I.S. countries were invited by the partners to attend the Final Conference, and in this way some transfer of knowledge was achieved. In this way, the scientific reports produced by the various workgroups were disseminated as widely as possible to academic and research institutions as well as management authorities across all the coastal states of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea . |
