To create and maintain an international interdisciplinary platform activating and coordinating the scientific potential of the Mediterranean – Black Sea region in order to set the stage for the development and establishment of the scientific background on which policies securing the ecologically-sound, sustainable management of the region can be based. This has been achieved through coordination of all actions of the current proposal, through workshops, meetings, an interactive web page and finally the development of a Science Plan for the region.
